What Clinic is Best for me?

We understand that when it comes to fitness, not everyone is at the same level or has the same goals. So whether you're a newcomer to the world of endurance or want to improve your race times, we provide the appropriate tools to ensure you reach your personal training goals!

  • Experienced distance runners will take their endurance to the next level by increasing speed & stamina to reach their goal race times, improve hill climbing and descending strength, gain confidence in navigation and improve off-road running techniques;
  • Newcomers will follow similar training guidelines and principals but     at an introductory level that gradually builds toward their goal distance with emphasis on safety and injury prevention;
  • 15km registration:  45min running base required.  You will build your endurance up to 1.5hrs;
  • 25km registration:  1:15hr running base required.  You will build your endurance up to 3hrs;
  • 50km registration:  Contact Rene at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

How long is each Clinic?

Each Clinic is 10 weeks in duration.  1-2 sessions per week. One session is strength and speed based, while the other session is endurance based.  Weekday sessions are approx. 1.5hr and the weekend sessions are based on the distance you’re training for; 1.5hrs to 6hrs.

What do typical training sessions look like?

Weekly sessions will involve one-on-one coaching in a group environment.  You will follow the workout designed for the specific distance you have registered for.  We do things like interval training, track workouts, time trials, hill climbs and boot camps.  We incorporate core strength, a group stretch and always lots of time to discuss training questions.

Weekend sessions are designed for you to build your endurance.  There are typically 2 groups.  One is the 15km distance and the other is the 25km/50km group.  Each group has 2 leaders, so ensure that no one is dropped and that there is lots of support during your journey.  We often start running together and eventually we separate groups based on the different training times of each group.

Training Locations

Various trails in Kelowna and Westbank. We also do optional road trips, prior to each event, for course exposure out of town.

P.A.C.E. Philosophy “We care about people and their fitness”

PACE believes in not only applying the proper performance factors to participation training, but also in educating our clients. You will get more than just a 'run' out of our programs and clinics. You can expect to learn the purpose behind each training session and how you can turn each session into a valuable investment towards reaching optimal health and maximum potential!

It is important to us that everyone trains in an environment that is positive and provides each athlete to work at their own pace.  Which is why we have so many amazing leaders and coaches on board.
